What you will do:

• Inspect work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned trade/craft workers
• Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for successful project completion
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for the area of installation
• Review and release ColonialWebb Shop Drawings and Spool Drawings for timely field installation
• Teach, coach, and guide teammates to ensure that they work safely and productively
• Ensure appropriate teammates are participating in hazard reporting; audit 5 x 5s and pre-task plans for compliance; hold teammates accountable for these actions
• Monitor and control manpower and tools to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and provide oversight of inventory activities
• Review a weekly report of costs incurred; identify possible cost-saving opportunities

What we are looking for:

• Prefer at least 5 years’ industry experience, including supervisory experience
• Extensive knowledge of International Codes and general HVAC and plumbing systems
• Possess OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred not required)
• Extensive experience in handling personnel issues
• Excellent mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills
• Ability to use current technology (i.e., computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM)
