Maintenance Electrician

Position: Electrician, Maintenance

Overview:

The Electrician, Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of electrical and mechanical equipment in a data center. Key duties include the maintenance, repair, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and test electrical equipment (e.g., generators, transformers, switchboards, circuit breakers, motors, conduit systems).
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints and specifications.
• Perform load requirement calculations for wiring and equipment.
• Use electrician's hand tools and testing instruments.
• Follow company safety regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of experience in electrical maintenance (commercial/industrial/data center).
• Journeyman-level certification or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Master Electrician License and HVAC experience (preferred).
