Job Title: Abinitio Developer - W2 Contract

Location: Nashville, TN (Remote)

Job type: W2 Contract Only; Open for H1B transfers (No C2C/No CTH/No 1099)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Ab Initio tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient processing and transformation of large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data integration workflows using Ab Initio.
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement solutions to improve data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data processing and ETL jobs.
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• (10)+ years of experience in Ab Initio development.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in Ab Initio components (e.g., Graphical Development Environment, Component Library, etc.).
• Experience with SQL and database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
• Certification in Ab Initio or related technologies.
