Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer

Title: Sr. Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Miami, US

Reporting: Sr. Manager IT Network & Infrastructure Services

IT Systems Engineer with proven experience in implementing and optimizing systems/infrastructure, technical support and troubleshooting, scripting and automation, and security mindset, to ensure performance and seamless functionality.

Responsibilities

1. Work collaboratively with multiple teams to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
2. Securely implement and support identity access and infrastructure projects.
3. Proactively ensure high levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
4. Monitor and test network performance for potential bottlenecks and identify possible solutions.
5. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
6. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on tasks.
7. Provide L2/3 escalation support.
8. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
9. Deploy and support integrations, domain trust configuration, agents’ deployments, etc., that can facilitate connectivity between SSO, directory, and provisioning tools.
10. Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure diagrams, and create processes, SOPs, and other technical documentation.
11. Lead assigned projects and implement automation wherever possible.
12. Provide technical leadership and training to engineers on the team.

Skills

• Experience in leading enterprise deployments of Microsoft technologies including Azure, O365, Active Directory, domain resolution, etc.
• Experience architecting, designing, and implementing Disaster Recovery solutions across a multi-site/hybrid environment.
• Expert in technology infrastructure, integration, and cybersecurity systems design, deployment, and testing.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in applying technology infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts, cybersecurity architecture and engineering principles, and security of networks, systems, applications, and data.
• SME in Windows server solutions, including OS installation, domain configuration, and AD architecture (GPO, AD schema, certificate-based authentication, PKI, etc.).
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar solutions.
• Strong networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Experience with email systems and security protocols (SMTP, DMARC, DKIM, SPF).
• Familiarity with other email security solutions and cybersecurity frameworks.

Education/Technology

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• CompTIA A+ or other IT-related certifications desired.
