About the Team: The TikTok Client Arch team is dedicated to productivity and quality of TikTok App's engineering projects, empowering thousands of TikTok mobile/front-end developers in areas including infrastructure, app architecture, engineering tool chains, and app foundations.

Responsibilities

1. Build client infrastructure and tools to enhance engineering efficiency
2. Improve the performance, stability, and efficiency of technical solutions
3. Drive architectural innovations to support world-class mobile app development
4. Collaborate with product engineering teams and infrastructure teams to deliver technical solutions and best practices

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors/experience
2. Experience in native Android or iOS development
3. Proficiency in at least one of these programming languages: Java or Kotlin on Android, or Objective-C or Swift on iOS
4. Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases
5. Excellent team communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and limitations of mobile platforms and clean architecture
2. Passionate about technology with a strong geek spirit, highly interested in bringing value to products through technical innovation

Job Information

For Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $112000 - $177000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
