About The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Application Framework) to join Nuro's growing Infrastructure team.

About The Work

1. Collaborate and work cross-functionally amongst teams at Nuro to align on customer needs.
2. Build high quality and scalable solutions for production system monitoring, health status tracking, and performance improvements.
3. Build high quality pipelines for processing and analyzing large amounts of data.

About You

1. You have start-up DNA: You have demonstrated an ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, start-up environment or have the DNA to do so.
2. You have excellent communication skills.
3. You have software development skills, preferably in Python, Go, or C++.
4. You are experienced with developing in a cloud environment.
5. You are experienced with building, scaling, and maintaining production systems.
6. You possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points

1. You have microservices architecture/middleware experience.
2. You have relevant domain experience.
3. You have experience in running large distributed applications (e.g., Docker or Kubernetes).

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $152,000 and $228,000 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
