Responsibilities Include:
Lead and manage team developing mechanical system design documents package for construction throughout the entire design and review cycle.
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and other consultant firms to meet the projects needs and address requirements
Oversee design mechanical systems such as HVAC/Piping/Plumbing/Medical Gas and Fire Suppression within new facility construction and existing facility renovation
Apply engineering judgement and critical thinking to arrive at the most efficient and economical mechanical system design
Participate in design charrettes and coordinate with other disciplines and offices, as well as other consultants and required subconsultants
Employ CAD software and other resources to prepare design plans to include REVIT, Trane Trace and other software modelling
Qualified candidates must possess the following skills, education, and experience:
BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
Registered Professional Engineer (TN or ability to obtain TN PE in Six Months)
10+ years mechanical systems and piping design
Strong knowledge of state, local and federal building and plumbing codes, standards, various building systems and building MEP System
Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable in AutoCAD and/or Trane Trace or HAP 700
Ready and willing to lead and grow
