Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and is capable of leading and mentoring a team of developers. This position is physically located in Northern Virginia and will require full-time on-site work in the Dulles Corridor area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing enterprise applications in a Web environment.
- Developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Developing unit and functional test plans.
- Providing operations and maintenance of operational systems.
- Modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
- Developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Performing or directing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development using web development technologies.
- Proficiency in Agile processes and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages (C++, Java, Ruby on Rails).
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, are a plus.
- US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
This position is located in Northern Virginia.
The salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually, commensurate on experience.
