Google 'Falfurrias Carolina Foods' for more information.BASIC FUNCTION: Provides engineering and technical ownership of manufacturing equipment and processes in an automated baked goods manufacturing facility. Works closely with the Reliability, Operations, Continuous Improvement and Quality teams to ensure world-class levels of OEE.
PAY RANGE: Up to $95k
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Technical ownership of Processing equipment and systems including bulk delivery systems, dough handling and forming, fryers, and other equipment related to the manufacture of honey buns, donuts, and pies.A. Process and equipment optimization to achieve required system performance in throughput, up-time, and quality for each process line and facility system.B. Daily Shop Floor technical support of Maintenance and Operations teams, including troubleshooting assistance with electrical controls and mechanical systems.Daily collaboration with Operations and Continuous Improvement (CI) teams.Full-cycle management of capital projects for both new equipment installations and improvements to existing installations.Demonstration of safety as a condition philosophy throughout the organizationProvide engineering support of new product innovation opportunities.Work with Operations, Maintenance, and CI teams to develop and drive a Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) culture including the pillars of planned maintenance and autonomous maintenance.Serve as a mentor to operators and maintenance technicians to drive shop-floor equipment and process ownership.Implement data-driven processes to track and manage assigned KPIs and contribute to the daily / weekly team KPI and execution cadence.Analyze and own results / KPIs and act with urgency and pace.Always be a responsible steward of the brand, business team members, and stakeholders.

BS or technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field, or significant (15+ years) of applicable technical experience.2. Hands-on attitude with the willingness and ability to work closely with personnel on the shop floor.3. 2+ years of experience providing technical engineering support in an automated manufacturing environment.Preferred1. Demonstrable experience with electrical, controls, and automation.2. 5+ years of experience providing technical engineering support in an automated manufacturing environment.3. Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
