RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify project needs, define and deliver Structural Engineering solutions.
- Provide competent SE solutions: Design, Analysis, Structural Assessment of existing buildings, Capacity Ratings.
- Utilize Structural Engineering tools and software
- Interact with clients and contractors
- Collaborate with other engineers and designers
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge of Structural Engineering for Medium and Heavy Industrial Buildings:
-Reinforced Concrete Foundations for building and equipment
-Structural Steel Floors, Frames (Braced or Moment Frames)
-Masonry
-Be familiar with IBC, ASCE 7 Loads: Seismic and Wind
-Utility Racks, Pipe Supports,
-Knowledge of Fall Protection design and OSHA
- Knowledge of Ram Elements, Robot or other FEA engineering tools
- Leadership and pro-active attitude
- Consulting engineering experience
- Ownership and accountability
- Ability to conceptualize and execute projects and tasks
- Efficient and Effective communication skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Civil/ Structural Engineering.
- 3 to 7 years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in consulting engineering, industrial and facility design.
- PE and/or SE certification
- Experience using REVIT software
