Job Description

The facility in Accomac, VA and Milford, DE is hiring a Complex Technical Site Manager. The Complex Technical Site Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing working methodologies to improve efficiency and reliability, increasing asset utilization, and reducing costs. They will provide technical and operational support for plant infrastructure maintenance and Continuous Improvement activities, driving a robust Maintenance Excellence Program.

This role will minimize line downtime, assist with process and technical operational improvements, and sustain overall equipment reliability. The position also involves improving and promoting the plant’s BBS (Behavioral Based Safety) program, managing operations to ensure safe and timely completion of departmental work, and providing training for technical skills and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously work on process improvement and department efficiencies.
  • Manage maintenance staff including hiring, training, and development.
  • Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance is completed and records are maintained.
  • Develop long-range strategic plans to ensure maintenance requirements are accomplished.
  • Assist corporate engineering with capital projects and lead Process Hazard Analysis studies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment within the maintenance parts room.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance management systems and processes.
  • Strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • CMRP, Six Sigma, Lean Certifications preferred.

Health, Safety & Quality Essentials:

  • Adhere to established Lockout/Tag-out Programs and participate in local plant’s safety program.
  • Comply with GMP and corporate quality SOPs.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities.
  • Exposure to various temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must wear and use protective and safety equipment as required.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, On call, Weekends as needed
