Linux Kernel Engineer - Endpoint Security

A seed funded startup based in Austin, TX is looking for a Senior Linux Kernel Developer. You'll help build out their endpoint security tool for Linux Servers, working on their main product. Their software sensors catalogue third party software on devices and analyze them for potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with Linux Kernel development, and are highly adept with GNU kernel, LSM endpoint security frameworks, and have a background in Endpoint Detection and Response software (EDR).
This role is fully remote with once a quarter travel to Austin, TX.
Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ YOE with Linux Kernel Development
• Strong experience with GNU Kernel
• Experience with Linux Security Modules
• Experience with EDR
• Programming in C/C++
• Experience with x86/x64 assembly
• Ability to adapt and work in a startup environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or related field
• Strong communication skills
