What you get to do:
- Install, configure, program, test, and troubleshoot GPU boards, digital I/O and DAQ cards, embedded controllers, and directed energy sensing equipment (X-ray, laser scanners, etc.)
- Reduce system failures and downtime by creating effective incident response protocols
- Place a sharp focus on performance and stability for all embedded systems
- Provide technical leadership/mentoring to the growing team of support staff working to improve system uptime
What you need to succeed:
- 10+ years of embedded software engineering experience working with Python, C++, and LabVIEW
- Extensive hands-on experience with computer hardware and system configurations (multi-GPU, RAM, motherboards, etc.)
- Recent experience with Linux system installation and administration
- Proven ability to test hardware equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
