Full Stack Developer IV

Summary:

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Platform tools team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in end-to-end development and will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our REST API SDLC tooling. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our platform tooling ecosystem is robust, scalable, and efficient. Your work will directly impact the developer experience and the overall performance and security of our APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable code for our multi-tier distributive web applications and REST microservices, ensuring they meet our high standards for performance and reliability.
2. Deliver high-quality and maintainable code using test-driven methodologies.
3. Own and be accountable for clean, scalable, high-performing, secure, and reliable software services, in all areas, including coding, testing, documentation, and automation.
4. Monitor and maintain critical applications, services, and products.
5. Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize features and improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Experience developing large scale RESTful web services using Java and Spring Boot, with good hands-on exposure to SQL technologies.
2. Experience in Web Technologies like JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, React / NextJS or similar frameworks and libraries. Good understanding of package managers like NPM and Webpack.
3. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks. Proficient in writing unit tests and functional tests using Unit, Mockito, Jest or similar libraries.
4. Experience working with large-scale, highly available, and distributed systems.
5. Hands-on knowledge of OOP/OOD along with a strong understanding of concurrency, parallelism, and data structure & algorithms.
6. Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to aid in debugging. Relevant technologies: Postman, cURL, Swagger, OpenAPI, Datadog.
7. Proficiency with Git and experience managing code in a collaborative environment.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Bonus Skills:

1. DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines- Harness, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
2. Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
3. Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
