Job Requirements / Description
Facility Technical Lead
â Be able to mechanically design a tank battery and SWD from scratch:
o Full process design and process modeling
o Material selection
o Pipe, valve, fitting selection meeting all relevant codes and standards
o Size and write bid requests for all rotating equipment
o Size and write bid requests for all skidded equipment and pressure vessels
o Understanding of environmental and regulatory requirements
o Understanding of equipment spacing for operability, safety, and cost
o Corrosion/erosional design
o Control system design
â Review and approve execution plans from project engineers
â Review and approve MOCs
â Lead HAZOPs
â Assist operations with troubleshooting and operability
â Write all major equipment RFQ's
â Create and redline P&IDs and Plot Plans
â Technical interface with vendors/suppliers
â Teach and train other engineers
