This role allows you to work from the greater Seattle area and is currently remote.
Your role and impact As a Full Stack Software Engineer at 98point6, you'll have the opportunity to work with a small team that is building our brand new platform for digital care. We’re looking for a generalist software engineer to help us define and develop our future.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the rest of the team to design and implement our backend, frontend, and infrastructure
- Work inside our monorepo with a frontend/backend stack that includes React, Typescript, tRPC, Temporal, and Postgres
- Independently clarify technical requirements, assess development estimates and apply a broad range of design approaches
- Develop and improve team best practices for coding and design
- Manage a production application that patients, doctors, and clinical staff depend upon
- Participate in 24/7 on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience designing and coding back-end services using Node.js or Python for production commercial services that operate on the public internet
- 3+ years of experience designing and coding browser-based applications using TypeScript, HTML5 and at least 1 Javascript application framework
- A high level of ownership, flexibility, and self-direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience integrating with common healthcare systems and standards
- Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR
