At One Medical, we build software that our members and providers use to deliver better care outcomes. This enables us to build amazing end-to-end solutions to connect patients and our care team in new and innovative ways. The Pharmacy Experience team sits at the intersection of our patient and provider experiences, holistically owning the experience of pharmacy selection, prescribing, medication pickup/delivery, and transparency in medication benefits.
As a fullstack engineer on the Pharmacy Experience team, you'll have the opportunity to work on the backend for our API services, and both our care team experience (Electronic Health Record), and our patient web experience. As a collaborative thinker, you enjoy working closely with all of your coworkers - technical, clinical, and operational - and discussing technical designs and trade-offs with your teammates.
By following agile principles of development we are able to build amazing and innovative end-end solutions while remaining nimble and action oriented in a highly regulated industry. Most of all, you want to apply your considerable skills and experience to a cause that you care about while working with a talented and fun team.
What you'll likely work on:
- Working on features that continue to empower our users to make well informed decisions about their health and prescriptions
- Help define team engineering standards and best practices
What you'll need
- 3+ years experience working on full stack engineering projects
- Proficiency in a full stack environment (Ruby/Rails, Django/Python, Node, etc)
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (Angular, React, Redux, NgRx)
- Test-driven development (Jest, Rspec)
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc)
- Proficiency working in an agile, test-driven development environment
- Experience collaborating with Product, UI/UX Design, and Quality teams during product development
- Demonstrated success working on complicated, cross functional projects with diverse stakeholders across multiple teams
Not required, but would be great if:
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with Angular
- Experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with NodeJs, Python and modern libraries for those
- Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technology
- Experience with A/B testing tools and methodologies
- Experience implementing and using analytics
- B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics OR equivalent industry experience

This is a full-time remote role based in the United States. One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $102,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, RSUs, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
