Technology Architect - DevOps

Job Description

Preferred

1. At least 4 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture, and architectural frameworks.
2. At least 4 years of experience in design and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and tools migration and consolidation using one or more of the DevOps tools/technologies in each of the below areas:
1. Project Management - JIRA, IBM RTC, Rally
2. Code Management System - SVN, GIT, Stash, and Clear Case
3. Code Quality - SonarQube, Crucible, JUnit, PMD, Checkstyle
4. Continuous Integration - Jenkins, Cruise Control, Bamboo
5. Test Automation - HP QTP, Selenium, JMeter, SOAPUI
6. Scripting - Shell scripting, PowerShell, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python
7. Predictive Monitoring - Splunk
8. End to end deployment - On Tomcat, Websphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Jetty
3. At least 3 years of experience in performing AS-IS analysis of the SDLC processes, identifying gaps, estimation, and defining the roadmap to implement the DevOps solution.
4. Experience in validating CICD implementation and auditing to provide assessment results and recommendations for refinements.
5. Experience in writing scripts to build and deploy to server-side environments and to automate logging of builds.
6. Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.
7. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
8. Good troubleshooting, analytical, and client interfacing skills.
9. Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

Basic

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
2. At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
