Building Engineer

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a Building Engineer to join a leading commercial real estate firm in the O'Fallon, MO area! This person will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the electrical, and mechanical systems in the facilities. Some responsibilities include, doing daily rounds, conducting assessments, troubleshooting equipment, as well as maintaining a clean work environment. As the Building Engineer, they will be working on chillers, pumps, cooler towers, and air distribution systems, etc.

Required Skills:

• Experience working in a commercial setting with mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps etc)
• Completion of a tech school or apprenticeship program
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts: (Sunday- Wednesday OR Wednesday- Saturday)

Preferred Skills:

• HVAC certifications (EPA preferred)
