The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your experience in common network and security devices that will support our country's critical infrastructure? As a Network Cyber Engineer, you will use industry leading network and security tools to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to develop and implement security solutions that will help protect our country's critical infrastructure.

On our team, you'll collaborate to troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of networking and security devices. You'll expand your knowledge of technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your current experience and educational background, you'll help assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.

In this role, you'll impact the mission directly by building out and protecting our nations networking infrastructure. With mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What You'll Work On:

• Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
• Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:

• Experience in common operating systems, such as Linux, Windows, or Mac OS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as ESXI or vmworkstation.
• Experience with basic cybersecurity best practices.
• Knowledge of basic networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot common technical problems.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS diploma or GED.

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in programming languages.
• Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks.
• Experience with common networking technologies, such as switches, routers, or firewalls.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Work Model:

• If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
• If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
