Job Description:
Joining our HPE Hybrid Cloud team and working as part of our OpsRamp team is a chance to make history and be a driving force in the industry. Our platform enables the world's largest and most diverse enterprise IT teams and managed service providers to control the chaos of modern digital infrastructure, and to deliver quickly, efficiently, and at scale while keeping their data secure and meeting sustainability goals.
We do this through hybrid discovery and monitoring, event and incident management, remediation, and automation, powered by AI. We help our enterprise and MSP customers avoid costly outages and performance issues that result in lost revenue and productivity.
What you’ll do:
We’re solving the world’s most complex challenges, and our people are at the forefront of progress. We are looking for a hands-on Senior AI/ML Development engineer with a passion to innovate and create cutting edge products for OpsRamp’s observability SaaS product. As a Senior Development Engineer within OpsRamp, you’ll play a part in building the future – one big idea at a time. You’ll significantly contribute on the end-to-end data and GenAI/AI/ML pipeline experiments, design, development, and deployment.
This individual must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the cloud native technologies, AI/ML pipelines and appreciation of scale, performance and cost considerations from a Systems as well as AI/ML inference & training aspects as well.
- Help in building of OpsRamp’s CoPilot for Autonomous Operations for the Hybrid Cloud.
- Implement cloud-native architecture concepts and have knowledge of best practices for high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and security requirements in the cloud.
- Incorporate the MLOPS paradigm and CI/CD in the AI/ML world, while following cloud-native techniques.
- Actively participate in the design and development of AI/ML pipelines, AI Co-pilots/Agents etc.
- Guide and mentor less-experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence, helping engineers grow in their careers.
What you’ll need:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the industry delivering scalable cloud/cloud-native solutions with ETL pipelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands-on expertise in defining, building, training and/or optimizing AI/ML models at scale in any of the popular ML frameworks.
- Deep understanding in Multi-agent/RAG/Advanced RAG applications, Prompt Engineering Techniques, Fine-tuning LLMs with an eye on inference performance.
- Familiarity with toolchains like Llamaindex, Langchain etc. is desirable.
- Must have strong knowledge of application failure modes, resiliency patterns, and techniques to enable robust, self-healing designs.
- Ability to effectively communicate product design proposals and negotiate with other stakeholders to achieve design consensus.
- Must be able to work in a global, complex, and diverse environment.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Information about employee benefits offered can be found at
USD Annual Salary: $128,000.00 - $295,000.00
