Position Summary:

BTA is a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of network solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Network Architect & Engineer with expertise in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and Cisco NXOS solutions. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage our cutting-edge data center networks, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of modern data center networking technologies and the ability to align network architecture with the organization’s business and technical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Architecture:
   • Develop and design advanced data center networks using Cisco ACI and Cisco NXOS solutions.
   • Create scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures that support enterprise business strategies.
   • Lead architectural discussions, present solutions, and provide strategic guidance on network infrastructure projects.
2. Implementation & Engineering:
   • Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco ACI environments, including fabric design, policy configuration, and integration with existing systems.
   • Configure and manage Cisco Nexus switches (NXOS) and support multi-site fabric deployments.
   • Ensure optimal performance of network systems and identify opportunities for system upgrades and improvements.
   • Design and implement network segmentation, including micro-segmentation using ACI, to enhance security and traffic control.
   • Automate network tasks using ACI APIs, scripting (Python, Ansible), and network orchestration tools.
3. Monitoring & Maintenance:
   • Monitor the performance, health, and security of data center networks, ensuring minimal downtime and quick incident resolution.
   • Troubleshoot complex issues related to the network infrastructure and resolve escalated incidents.
   • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
   • Apply software updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain the security and efficiency of the network infrastructure.
4. Collaboration & Leadership:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, cloud, application) to support network-related needs for new initiatives or ongoing operations.
   • Mentor and guide junior network engineers, sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
   • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on network performance, incidents, and project progress.

Required Qualifications:

1. Education & Certifications:
   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience:
   • 5+ years of experience as a Data Center Network Architect/Engineer, with a focus on Cisco ACI and Cisco NXOS .
   • Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale data center environments.
   • Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols (VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF), network automation, and virtualization technologies.

Desired Skills:

1. Hands-on experience with multi-pod or multi-site Cisco ACI deployments.
2. Familiarity with cloud network integration (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures.
3. Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
4. Understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and network security.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on results.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Cisco certifications such as CCIE Data Center , CCNP Data Center , or Cisco ACI certification are a plus.
