Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a full-stack development environment with technologies including JavaScript, React, HTML, Classic ASP, Java, Node.js, JSON, IIS, and MS SQL.
2. Triage production support issues and develop software fixes with a short turnaround time. This may require in-depth troubleshooting and reverse engineering of existing code.
3. Participate in daily scrum meetings to collaborate with team members.
4. Develop feature enhancements to meet new business requirements.
5. Prepare code merge requests and database changes for deployment.
6. Perform regular code reviews.
7. Create and maintain technical documentation.
8. Perform unit testing and write test scripts for QA.
9. Recommend improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.
10. Encourage innovation.
11. Help design critical software components, systems, and features.
12. Manage deliverables and deadlines in an agile setting.
13. Mentor and train other team members on design principles, and coding best practices.

Basic Qualifications

1. 5+ years of software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages
2. Experience being technical lead of a team or project
3. Experience with code versioning in a continuous integration/deployment setting
4. Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
5. Significant knowledge/experience in relevant technologies, such as:
1. CS Fundamentals
2. Object oriented programming
3. Development tools
4. JavaScript

6. HTML/CSS
7. Classic ASP/VBScript
8. Java
9. js
10. JSON
11. IIS

13. Database design

Preferred Qualifications

1. Familiarity with the entire web stack
2. Experience with localization and accessibility
3. Experience working on large scale enterprise B2B systems
