IS&T Early Career Software Engineer Opportunities

The Information Systems & Technology organization produces key business and technical infrastructure at Apple handling orders from the online store, building applications that improve the retail store experience, providing network bandwidth for our services around the world, processing every transaction in iTunes, and closing the books. Within IS&T, there are a variety of software engineering positions available across many different teams, ranging from special projects for new business initiatives to operations in a rapidly growing and dynamic setting. Early Career provides employees with the opportunity to build community amongst themselves by attending educational and social events. Examples of positions would include: Software Engineer and Corporate Systems Engineering. Teams that are hiring include: Enterprise Technology Services and Global Business Intelligence.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge in at least one scripting language.
• Experience in Computer Science Fundamentals.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cloud based data storage and processing technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
