Federal platform provides SOA based web services that people use to submit highly confidential information.

We are seeking a Developer to design and develop JEE/Web Applications with user interface experience as part of the Portal Applications. The candidate will comply with project guidelines, perform unit and integration testing, and maintain web applications as required.

Primary Duties:

  • Design and develop Web Applications as part of the Federal solution in compliance with project guidelines.
  • Perform unit and development level integration testing as needed.
  • Maintain code based on the needs of testing, customer testing, and production issues.
  • Support the integration of Front-end Portal Web Applications with the backend application.
  • Document software design and code.

Required Skills/Level of Experience:

  • 8 years+ JEE (Web Application, REST, Servlets, JSP, XML, JAXB, SAX, DOM, Log4J), HTML 5.0, JavaScript, XSLT, SOAP.
  • 4 years+ Spring MVC v5.x framework, React, Angular, Maven, Section 508.
  • 4 years+ JBoss EAP v7.x Development and Administration.
  • 4 years+ Apache Web Server v2.4.
  • 4 years+ Develop automated unit tests with JUnit.
  • 3 years+ Rational Software Architect or Eclipse or JBoss studio.

Preferred Skills:

  • EWM for source code and defect management.
  • RedHat OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes, Springboot.
  • AWS.
