As a Software Development Engineer II, you will have the opportunity to tackle complex problems, which comes with developing and delivering global mission critical enterprise software using your expertise in design, coding, algorithms, and complexity analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in a scrum team for design and development
2. Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA counterparts on functional design and analysis of requirements
3. Develop a product in a metadata-driven development environment
4. Develop robust, efficient and maintainable code using an OO framework and class modeling
5. Create and maintain reliable unit and system level tests that will run on our CD pipeline
6. Troubleshoot customer reported issues
7. Learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge sharing, hackathons, etc.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar relevant degree
2. 2+ years of experience as a software development engineer delivering scalable web applications or SaaS solutions
3. Object-Oriented (OO) design and development experience in a language such as Java, Scala, C#, C++, Python, XpressO, etc.

Other Qualifications:

1. Experience working on Web frameworks like J2EE, .NET
2. Experience with XML and integration technologies is a plus
3. Experience writing complex queries in databases like MySQL, NoSQL
4. Familiar with agile development methodologies
5. Experience with design patterns, class modeling, and UML technology.
6. Experience with design and development of SOAP and/or REST web services
7. Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, NUnit and/or other test-driven development tools.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $102,400 USD - $153,600 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $97,300 USD - $174,000 USD
