Job Description

Location: Lincoln, NE

Duration: 2 years

This position is for the Department of Health and Human Services - Information Systems and Technology - General Solution team. This position is a Senior .NET Web Developer.

Mandatory Position Requirements:

1. At least seven (7) years of full lifecycle web-based software development experience.
2. At least three (3) years GOF design pattern experience.
3. At least three (3) years of experience using .NET Entity Framework.
4. At least five (5) years of experience with ASP.NET 3.5 or above.
5. At least three (3) years of experience using ASP.Net MVC.
6. At least seven (7) years of development experience writing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures working with MS SQL Server 2005 or above.
7. At least two (2) years of experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
8. At least seven (7) years of experience using C# programming.
9. At least seven (7) years of experience using Visual Studio 2005 or above.
10. At least three (3) years of experience with AJAX.
11. At least three (3) years of experience with JSON.
12. At least three (3) years of experience with JQuery.
13. At least two (2) years of experience with RESTful Web Services using ASP.NET Web API.
14. Experience working as part of a software development team using structured procedures and guidelines.
15. Experience researching and resolving online production support issues including your ability to resolve problems in constrained timeframes.
16. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
17. Strong collaborative skills, service oriented and strong interpersonal skills with various levels of business and technical staff.
18. Strong analytical skills that include working directly with business staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements.
19. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Position Requirements:

1. Experience in using the Telerik DevCraft Development toolset for ASP.NET.
2. Experience using .NET Workflow Framework.
3. Experience as an IIS Administrator.
4. Experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
5. Experience with LDAP and/or using Active Directory for authentication and protecting resources.
6. Experience with XSD.
7. Experience with CSS.
8. Experience with HTML.
9. Experience with XML.
10. Working knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio.
