Looking for an experienced Engineer who is excited about transforming Operational processes and building sustainable, scalable mechanisms for fulfillment operations. This role is part of the Industrial Engineering department.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and an organized planner. The role needs relentless advocacy of operational pain points and challenging the status quo. The candidate should be self-driven and possess the ability to work in an ambiguous environment with minimal guidance or supervision. As such, the candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, and managing multiple priorities.

What we do: We provide services to high-end companies, working closely with C-level executives and entrepreneurs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, scoping, RFP, and implementation for automation solutions.
  2. Develop continuous improvement charters, scopes of work, plans, and schedules for continuous improvement programs.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams on their continuous improvement journey by guiding them through an understanding of Lean/Six-Sigma concepts, CI methodology, Kaizen events, and other process improvement methods to drive key KPIs in cost, efficiency, and quality.
  4. Identify opportunities for defect reductions, efficiency improvement, and cost reduction.
  5. Expertly perform process and value stream mapping and train others. Conduct process analysis and trending using continuous improvement tools and techniques. Provide mechanisms to capture baseline data before and after improvements are made.
  6. Perform critical thinking and problem solving – evaluating alternatives, and identifying solutions using systematic, multi-step approaches.
  7. Define standard work for ongoing operations, training, communication, and change management.
  8. Lead and conduct financial analysis of operational performance.
  9. Generate cost models for new business opportunities as part of the sales process.
  10. Deliver moderately complex medium to large scale new process improvements from initiation through delivery.
  11. Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals, and commitment to timelines and deliverables.
  12. Analyze problems, identify issues, summarize findings, and recommend courses of action. Once the solution or process optimization is implemented, monitor customer satisfaction and ROI.

Qualifications:

  1. 5 - 7+ years of overall experience with at least 2-4+ in lean/six sigma, or similar quality and continuous improvement fields.
  2. Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and interest in supporting national operations.
  3. Experience in a global/multinational environment building and sustaining continuous improvement culture.
  4. Excellent written and verbal skills as well as prioritization and planning skills – with strong attention to detail.
  5. Well-honed analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment.
  6. Successful record of building, improving and running business processes.
  7. Strategic orientation, able to work with sophisticated financial analyses, assess and mitigate risk, forecast both long and short-term outcomes, and anticipate and navigate scenarios in a complex operational environment.
  8. Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proven ability to partner effectively with stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  9. Excellent training and facilitation skills; in-person and virtual instructor-led.
  10. Experience assessing training effectiveness. Ability to create and utilize evaluations and metrics.
