Job Summary

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Engineer with Java/Angular with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

Location: Fort Worth, TX, USA – Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

1. Able to play a Java Full Stack Engineer role – Senior Developer – Java FSE
2. Participate in all the project key stakeholder meetings to understand the business requirements.
3. As an individual contributor, complete the assigned user stories in a given sprint.
4. Design the modules individually.
5. Participate in all the Agile ceremonies and perform all sprint level activities.
6. Own the end-to-end delivery of the assigned user stories/features (development to deployment) and resolve the team’s technical issues.
7. Have effective communication skills in commuting between offshore and onsite customer stakeholders.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in development, design, unit testing and implementation.
2. Proficiency in Java Development.
3. Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
4. J2EE technologies: Java.
5. Frameworks: Spring Boot.
6. Front-end: Angular, HTML, CSS, RWD, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Lit/React.
7. Build/deployment tools: Maven, Gradle, Git, JUnit, Mockito, CI/CD.
8. Other DevOps Toolchain/Cloud: GitHub, Azure, DevOps, Docker, Amazon Corretto17.
9. Tools: IntelliJ IDE, Visual Studio (Front end), Postman, Cisco AnyConnect, SoapUI, LogDNA, Grafana, Dynatrace.
