Java Springboot Engineer

Job Title: Java, Spring Boot Senior Engineer

Relevant Experience (in yrs): 6-8 years

Technical/Functional Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Spring, API

Experience Required: 8-10 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Bachelor Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required.
2. Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
3. Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing.
4. Expertise with Java/J2EE preferred.
5. Expertise with building RESTful APIs.
6. Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals.
7. Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
8. Confirmed experience with object-oriented design and coding with a variety of languages.
9. Knowledge on code quality parameters and GIT branching concepts.
10. Knowledge on SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle/DB2, Cassandra / Couchbase).
11. Knowledge of Automated testing concepts using Selenium, REST Assured, Cucumber and CI/CD concepts with exposure to tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GIT.
12. Expertise in agile life-cycle management tools (JIRA/Rally), software testing standards, methods and conventions.
