Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on a hunt for an Audience Database Manager to be part of a team that's shaping the future of how AWS connects with key customer segments.

In this role, you will be the audience targeting, segmentation and database growth expert as part of a team that is building a new marketing engine to digitally engage zero-billing / low-billing accounts. This role is ideal for a data-driven audience manager with a passion for developing sophisticated targeting, segmentation, customer data hygiene, and database growth strategies for key stages of the customer lifecycle. Your work will be crucial in supporting our teams to gain deeper understanding of our marketable customer database, model audience segments and to set-up relevant customer cohorts using the latest martech solutions to drive personalized experiences across channels, ultimately maximizing the ROI of marketing investment in customer acquisition and growth.

Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with martech, data science, marketing analytics, operations, campaigns and programs teams to develop a cohesive audience targeting strategy for each digital channel and campaign.

  • Regularly provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for growing and enriching marketable customer contact records across key target segments.

  • Strategically enrich audience data records by leveraging various internal and external data sources and databases.

  • Proactively identify and deliver audience behavioral insights and database growth trends to global and regional stakeholders.

  • Work with the customer research team to gather audience insights through qualitative and quantitative audience and persona research projects.

  • Influence the roadmap of data science, customer channel and technology teams on all things related to targeting solutions, measurement, database enrichment, and data platforms integration.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting

  • -Proven experience in audience management, customer lifecycle, email marketing, or CRM management, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments.

  • -Excellent analytical skills with a focus on performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.

  • -Strong project management and organizational skills to handle complex workflows and multiple campaigns simultaneously.

  • -Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments to drive joint initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Expertise in automation, and campaign management tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce).

  • Experience working in the cloud industry

  • Experience working in global teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
