The Robotics Team at Noah Medical is dedicated to the development and implementation of safe and high-quality controls software and algorithms. A Day In The Life Of Our Robotics and Controls Engineering Intern:
- Actively participate in the software development process for test systems and the product.
- Perform de-risking tests for product software changes.
- Process product data, analyze it, and draw conclusions.
- Perform debugging and root cause analysis on complex test systems.
- Perform system testing, data collection, parsing, and analysis for complex robotic systems.
About You:
- Enrolled in B.S, M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related Engineering specialty or any similar fields with an emphasis on robotics.
- Passion to have hands-on experience in robot manipulator kinematics, dynamics, feedback control, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.
- Work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced start-up with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently, and the determination to get through challenging problems.
- Experience with designing robust experiments and data collection pipelines.
- Experience with rapid prototyping algorithms in Python.
- Prior experience with software development in C++ is nice to have.
