Role: Senior .NET Backend Engineer
Start Date: Immediate
Project Duration: 18 months
Location: Remote in DFW
Project Description: Car industry - Work Order management systems. Completing greenfield builds of new solutions to handle the entire workflow for the organization. From the creation of new service projects, through their execution and finally to billing. The solution will involve the interaction with call centers, retail locations, and the service division who is performing the work. Service technicians can be scheduled and see visibility into the next job whether that is onsite in the case of retail locations, or remote with dispatching for some of the more specialized services. These are both brand new ground up builds using modern agile development practices and new cloud-based architectures, which are very different from the monolithic database bound application this organization is used to building.
Primary Skills: .NET, SQL, API, C#
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be US or GC Holder
- Hands-on experience working in the .NET ecosystem for 8-10 years.
- Professional experience implementing APIs, Backends-For-Frontends, in .NET Core is a must.
- Hands-on Experience in working with Azure is highly desired. Azure Function Apps, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL. Should possess skills in reading and writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Professional experience working with Azure Function Apps is required.
- Knowledge and understanding of different ways of implementing API security is necessary. Having experience implementing would be a big plus.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps (for software versioning) is required. Knowledge/familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines would be a big plus.
- Must be a strong developer in C#/.NET ecosystem.
- Candidates with strong communication and documentation skills are required.
