Software Engineer with Security Clearance

GridironIT is seeking numerous Software Engineers local to the Chantilly, VA area. Top Secret Clearance is required.

Role:

This role is more than just coding. As a software engineer, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

1. Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
2. Experience with Java & Spring
3. Experience with Web Application, Service, or back-end development
4. Experience with the database persistence layer
5. Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git and Jira
6. Top Secret clearance
7. HS diploma or GED
8. Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

1. Experience with Open Systems architecture design principles
2. Experience with automated testing and DevOps technologies
3. Knowledge of user interface (UI) technologies, including React or AngularJS
4. Ability to work in a team environment
5. TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
6. Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification
