Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What You’ll Do
- Build and operate integrated test labs for one of the world's first FAA certified eVTOL aircraft
- Repair and replace aircraft subsystems components in a lab environment
- Setup and operate test equipment for data acquisition during initial subsystems integration testing
- Maintain lab documentation for lab modifications, repairs and upgrades
- Inspect the work of other engineers and technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specifications
- Track and perform calibration of lab equipment
- Assemble, rework, test and debug printed circuit board assemblies
- Fabricate and ring-out wiring harnesses for testing/debugging purposes
What You Need
- 5+ years of experience as an electrical technician in either aerospace, automotive or similar industry
- Superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience cutting, splicing and crimping wires to fabricate a wide variety of harness types
- Extreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical work
- Ability to repair or replace various subsystems components
- A safety conscious mindset for ensuring the wellbeing of all working in the labs
- Set an example for a high standard of technical work for other team members
Bonus Qualifications
- A&P License
- Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Experience with FAA type certification and conformal test setups
- Familiarity with high voltage systems

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $36.92 - $49.00/hr. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
