Senior Model Based System Engineer 02* (San Diego)San Diego, CARequires US CitizenshipEmployment Term and Type: Regular, Full TimeRequired Security Clearance: TS/SCI, be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examinationRequired Education/Experience: Master’s Degree (or four additional years’ experience)Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000Job Description:Provide MBSE services to NAVWAR PMO to support modeling and simulation activities utilizing intelligence data in support of program objectives.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in modeling and simulation activities of systems and provide reports and analysesValidate and generate models in support of program requirements including orbital models using STK, Matlab, or similar toolsDocument the application of a collaborative data-modeling environment for the MBSE interface. Provide technical recommendations to government Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to edit and expand completed documentationGenerate graphical user interfaces that detail access to and reporting from a data-modeling environment.Validate and report to the Government that interfaces allow for both the novice and advanced users to utilize the capabilities provided by the modelDevelop the data conditioning functionality necessary to push and pull data to and from network discovery applications, simulation tools, system vulnerability scanning tools and external databasesDevelop software scripts to integrate established data framework with other repositories that contain relevant dataIntegrate System of Systems Engineering (SoSE) tools and practices with modeling and simulation, testing, programmatic, workflow, and data management toolsRequired QualificationsAt least 10 years of professional experience performing MBSE functions in DoD or Navy organizationsProficient knowledge of MS Office softwareEducation Requirements:Master’s Degree or four additional years’ relevant experiencePhysical Requirements:Sitting 70% Standing 30%, Climbing 0%, Walking 10%, Lifting up to 50lbs 0%, Pulling/Pushing up to 50lbs 5%, Carrying up to 25lbs 10%, Grasping 5%, Stooping or Crouching 5%, Crawling on hands and knees 0%, Reaching 10%, Near Acuity, Color Determination 100%, Speaking with customers 50%, Listening 50%, Sight 100%, Use of Hands/Fingers 90%.
