Machine Learning Engineer

One of the largest market-making institutions is currently seeking a highly skilled ML Engineer to join their expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire trade cycle, as well as serving as a central link on their Trading Floor, where you will gain in-depth exposure across their development, quantitative trading, and strategy teams.

Responsibilities:

• Operate world-class automated trading systems
• Work closely with advanced ML traders and researchers on the trading floor to maximize profits
• Improve market-making capabilities by providing valuable data-driven insights
• Monitor and analyze trading activity from automated market-making systems
• Construct and optimize trading portfolios using cutting-edge quantitative technology and software
• Enhance automation by transitioning manual processes to scale the business
• Serve as a central connecting role between various teams and departments within the firm

Candidate Requirements:

• Background in Financial Trading or Financial Engineering preferred
• Strong Python programming abilities are essential
• Solid academic background in a STEM discipline, with a preference for computer science
• Comfortable with data modeling and statistics
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Driven, with the technical skills to optimize and develop processes
