Engineering Manager

Infinitek are partnered with a key client, who are the USA's leading of food & beverage and due to continued growth they are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to elevate our clients operations to the next level. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving cultural change, enhancing team capabilities, and ensuring the plant's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & People Management: Inspire and manage a diverse team, including mentoring and developing future leaders. Address and overcome resistance to change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Work closely with the plant manager and executive team to identify and implement improvement projects. Manage large-scale capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Technical Expertise: Oversee maintenance management, including refrigeration/ammonia systems, PLC control systems, CIP, GMP, and utility management (boiler, steam, hydraulics, waste water treatment).
• Hands-On Approach: Balance desk work with hands-on mentoring and training of the maintenance team. Ability to "turn a wrench" when necessary.
• Strategic Project Management: Prioritize and manage infrastructure and ROI projects with a budget of $270k per month, focusing on both immediate and long-term improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices in dairy or similar food/chemical manufacturing environments.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of engineering and leadership experience in food/chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration/ammonia systems, PLC control systems, CIP, GMP, and utility management.
• Proven track record of managing large projects and leading teams through change.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
