Check out this new opportunity!Engineer- Manufacturing / Process / Industrial IIKent, WAContract Position$40.69 - $49.23/HourResponsibilities:Manage manufacturing-related projects.Achieve get-to-rate, cycle time and lead time reduction targets for the assigned work centers.Production Support- Production Scheduling, Theory of Constraints, Budgets and Forecasts, Crew Empowerment, Defect Analysis and Benchmarking Analysis, Resource Allocation, Scenario Planning, Discrete Event Simulation, Make/Buy Evaluations, and Cost/Price Evaluations.Process Improvement- Lean Manufacturing, Engineering Economic Analysis, Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Methods, Six Sigma, Time Studies, Waste Reduction, and Work Sampling.Operations improvement- Ergonomic and Human Factors, Operations Plans, Recovery planning, Capacity planning, Capital planning.Integrated Systems- Value Stream Analysis, Facility Layouts, Production Systems Design, Manufacturing Process Design, Systems Thinking, Facilities Planning, and Requirements.Qualifications:BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Engineering degree.From recent graduate to 1-2 years of experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment.Experience in assembly manufacturing environments.2+ years of factory flow and process modeling and simulations experience.2+ years of experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events.Strong analytic skills and a high degree of proficiency in data mining.Exceptional with Excel, manual data analysis and other data mining tools (Python, R, SQL).Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Self-Starter.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylumPreferred Qualifications:Operations Management, Construction Management, MSE and/or MBA.Project Management Certification (PMP).Lean Manufacturing Certification.Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.Experience transitioning development to production.Experience scaling operations from low volume to high volume manufacturing.Experience in aerospace manufacturing and/or facilities planning.Human rated space flight production experience.Strong teaming skills.Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes.Your RecruiterStill have questions?
