Description:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design and implement effective testing strategies, mentor and guide junior QA staff, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that meet our high standards. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in our QA processes, ensuring that we consistently deliver top-notch solutions to our clients.
What will you do:
- Expected to be a hands-on Sr. QA Engineer/Principal QA Engineer who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the assigned modules along with team members.
- Responsible for planning, estimating, testing, and certifying enhancements made for several key modules of the ONE application.
- Work closely within a team of QA analysts spread across locales to ensure that the high-quality metrics and processes of the company are upheld.
- Work towards continuous process improvements with an aim towards innovation and driven by root cause analysis and quality metrics.
- Required to bring technical depth to help solve challenging and novel problems and enable quantitative measurements of quality.
- Work with automation teams on automation test case prioritization to deliver scoped line items on time.
- Deliver clear reports and key metrics to the reporting manager and needed stakeholders as products under test move through each development phase.
- Responsible for keeping up-to-date on the latest technologies, QA approaches, techniques, and best practices.
- Expected to balance priorities between short-term results and long-term improvements.
- Be able to manage and handle escalation effectively.
- Help QA Lead/Manager oversee daily activities of the team and efficiently utilize an offshore team model to enhance bandwidth and testing cycles.
- Expected to help the lead/manager to manage QA tools, framework maintenance and assist the team with minimizing technical debt.
Required Skills:
- Highly skilled in QA concepts and techniques to write effective test cases.
- 4+ years strong hands-on QA experience, which includes test case design and functional testing as a must.
- Strong understanding of test planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
- 6+ years of total QA experience in a variety of projects across multiple domains, team sizes, and development methodologies.
- Work experience with a variety of project planning, test management, and bug-tracking tools.
- Highly skilled in Relational Databases and SQL.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
