Position: CIAM Operations Engineer
Location: (Insert Location)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and validate new features developed by the engineering team and ensure smooth integration of product updates during UAT.
- Execute deployment of new features and platform upgrades in both UAT and PROD environments.
- Provide assistance to application teams during UAT procedures.
- Handle incident and change management tasks efficiently, including submission and closure of CRs.
- Continuously monitor the health and performance metrics of the CIAM solution.
- Offer on-call support outside regular business hours on a rotational basis.
- Escalate critical issues to the engineering team for prompt resolution.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Possess at least 5 years of overall experience in Identity and Access Management principles.
Experience should include:
- Identity lifecycle management.
- Understanding of Identity data models.
- Access management.
- Familiarity with Authentication, SSO, and MFA.
- Knowledge of Authorization principles.
- Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience with ForgeRock CIAM solution.
Proficient in at least one of the following:
- Java/JavaScript
- Groovy
- YAML
- XML
- RESTful APIs
- Git
Experienced in authentication and federation technologies such as:
- SAML
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID/OIDC
- UMA 2.0
- FIDO2
Highly desirable to have experience with:
- DevOps practices
- CI/CD pipelines
- Containerization tools like Docker
Additional skills:
- Familiarity with cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge or experience in security testing is a plus.
- Prior consulting experience would be beneficial.
- Security certification(s) are advantageous.

- Capable of working effectively under pressure and adapting to evolving environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical and business requirements.
- Collaborative team player willing to contribute at all levels.
- Proactive in suggesting improvements to enhance current processes.
