About the Role
We're looking for a hardworking, skilled and driven Senior iOS Engineer to help us take our product to the next level. At Glassdoor, you'll have the freedom to demonstrate your intuition, creativity and expertise to help one of the top job sites in the world to continue its rapid expansion! As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be working on the Glassdoor's Mobile Application Engineering team that is responsible for the popular, award-winning Glassdoor Android and iOS apps. Our mobile apps are part of the key strategy in Glassdoor's mission to help users find the jobs and companies they love. The Mobile Application Engineering team owns all aspects of our native apps feature set and delivery.
What You'll Do
- Work with modern tech stack (Swift and SwiftUI)
- Add new features to Glassdoor's famous app and maybe even work on something completely new!
- Work closely with a team of product and UX designers to define features for the Glassdoor application
- Collaborate with other teams across the organization
- A commitment to add to our culture of DEI
- 3+ years developing consumer mobile applications for iOS, 5+ years overall in developing software applications
- Proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit are required
- Experience with UI development of mobile applications (scalable for different screen resolutions and localization)
- Solid knowledge of mobile OS architecture - in areas of: UI, memory management, data storage, security, and application management by OS
- Proficiency with multithreading and performance optimization techniques for iOS
- Experience with software engineering practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
- Being comfortable working with a multi-functional team of developers and quality engineers to develop innovative engineering solutions
- Self-starter who is comfortable taking a task and delivering on it without lots of management
- A strong desire and ability to add to our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- CS degree or equivalent experience
Base Salary Range*: $148,000.00 - $222,000.00 ++
- Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
- Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews
- Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, RSU grant awards are presented bi-annually to exceptional performers.

- Coverage begins at the start of employment. After 48 months of continuous employment, 100% of all premiums for you and your dependents can be employer-paid!
