POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking a Senior Engineer to support the firms progressive and dynamic civil and environmental engineering team. The Senior Engineer will be asked to develop and lead high quality, cutting edge sustainable engineering solutions including process evaluation, facilities planning, engineering design, permitting & compliance, construction administration and operations planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position is between $121,000 and $189,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.

POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking a Senior Engineer to support the firms progressive and dynamic civil and environmental engineering team. The Senior Engineer will be asked to develop and lead high quality, cutting edge sustainable engineering solutions including process evaluation, facilities planning, engineering design, permitting & compliance, construction administration and operations planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required.
- Work across teams and engage subconsultants as needed to implement quality assurance and quality control through all project phases
- Develop staff, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and mentoring
- Modify and review production drawings for a variety of projects ensuring designs are in compliance with current applicable regulations
- Oversee and monitor cross-functional team in development of construction documents for all scales of site development
- Manage development of illustrative exhibits, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Serve as an effective interface between client's project team and consulting team, conveying technical information in a timely and professional manner
- 10-15+ years of post graduate professional experience
- Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical engineering
- Extensive knowledge of all project phases including pre-design, conceptual design, detailed design, construction administration, start-up and commissioning, and operations
- Experience in preparing and advancing plan set packages through all project phases
- Experience with tools such as AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, Google Apps, ClickUp, Dropbox, Sharepoint
- Strong water/wastewater technical background, including in-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes including for water reuse and resource recovery
- Experience with water/wastewater process modeling simulation software (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X)
