Job Requirements / Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of ETL processes
  • Build data pipelines using Python
  • Develop Shell scripts for querying
  • Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specifications.
  • Developer and maintain complex ETL jobs, data pipelines and transformations.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, providing timely solutions and documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Assist in planning and execution of data migration and integration projects.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Python scripting experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience leading and managing ETL development projects and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database design.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Experience with version control )e.g., GIT, SVN.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
