Position Summary : The Process Engineer will be responsible for determining operational parameters for new products and developing processes to ensure quality, cost, and efficiency requirements. The Process Engineer is also responsible for troubleshooting the existing processes within the various company facilities. Great communication with internal and external stakeholders is the key to success in this position. This individual will be a key member of our team driving continuous improvement across the business.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the operation and quality team and the customer to optimize the existing processes.
- Convert R&D procedures into processes suitable for operation and production equipment
- Supervise and troubleshoot the processes
- Prepare SOPs and reports for the internal management as well as the customer.
- Document all the changes in the processes
- Serve as a technical contact for customers and vendors
- Ensures we are delivering best in class quality for our customers
- Contribute to team meetings to support the customer and business needs

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with process experience is preferred.
- 1-5 years experience in industry in a specialty chemical or polymer facility preferred
Availability : This role does support a 24/7 operation. At times, production issues will call for the Process Engineer to be available over the phone to support real time production needs outside of a normal work week.
