Project Engineer

Requirements

1. The Project Engineer will have project objectives which include cost, schedule and functionality for project investments of $5MM +.
2. Providing leadership to the project team including Engineering, Manufacturing, EH&S, Infrastructure, Logistics, Procurement, and Construction.
3. Championing the scope development process to ensure completeness of basic engineering, while seeking opportunities to add through the application of Value Based Engineering.
4. Overseeing the Change Management process and maintaining focus on safety in the development of project concepts and during execution.
5. Working with the Project Team to develop execution and contracting strategies to effectively meet objectives.
6. Having a commitment to maintain a safe and productive workplace as you ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and technical standards.
7. Hybrid work schedule. Regional candidates only. $110K-$125K.

Minimum Qualifications

1. The Project Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major.
2. 5+ or more years of engineering experience in a chemical, petrochemical or refinery. 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer is mandatory.
3. A proven track record of executing multiple small to medium size capital projects simultaneously.
4. Knowledge of project management processes and project execution best practices.
5. Familiarity with SAP systems is preferred.
6. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
