Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Manage overall department, including budgets, project assignments, priorities, planning, appraisals, and report to next level management.
• Manage entire LCs Capital process from annual planning all the way through to implementation until a handover to Operations.
• Discover, research, trial and implement automation to reduce the direct manufacturing cost throughout the LC.
• Improve LC direct manufacturing cost through improved OEE, cycle times and equipment reliability.
• Lead process development including equipment evaluations, testing and improvements.
• Lead future state equipment planning and development.
• Manage project engineering to drive all aspects of capital projects. Including justification, budgets, planning, specification, ordering, build, and implementation of equipment.
Leadership:
• Develops and maintains close working relationships between departments to promote exchange of ideas and teamwork.
• Assist the team in day-to-day production issues and problem resolution.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve safety, processes, quality, and other KPI's.
General
• Recommend and implement process improvements to maximize productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, reduce costs, and provide a safe work environment.
• Interact with all levels of the organization including other departments.
Safety:
• Maintain compliance to all company rules and regulations.
• Attend and participate in safety trainings as required
Lean:
• Participate in Kaizen events.
• Transfer Lean Methods and principles to the shop floor to effectively eliminate/reduce waste.
• Maintain 5S standards with the cells and workspace.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
- 7+ years' experience in Manufacturing
- Position requires excellent people and leadership skills - must be able to communicate with diverse levels of employees
- Proven experience in project management and leading technical teams
- Technical background of automation, equipment, process development and capital project management
- Work with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Ability to prioritize, make decisions quickly, and effectively resolve problems or issues using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently
- Occasional global travel to other internal/external sites.
