This role sits within their Security team, which is responsible for ensuring, maintaining, and improving the security of our container technologies within the firm. You will be responsible for engineering automated security solutions that both secure and harden internal platforms as well as reduce friction for developers in their daily development lifecycle. You will be improving the container SDLC for internal devs from an image scanning perspective, engineering firm-wide solutions, and partnering with centralized platform teams, DevOps teams, and our developer community where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- 7+ years of relevant industry work experience
- Experience in the full lifecycle of design, implementation, and running of enterprise software
- solutions involving cross-functional team collaboration
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability,
- scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience of k8s and container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Openshift
- Experience of security fundamentals with relation to a k8s platform and DevSecOps a must
- Expertise in a major programming language such as Python or Java, and associated tooling (Git,
- Maven, IDEs, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc)
- Experience using Container Image Scanning platforms and tooling
- Expertise with DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodology
