Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with expertise in Matillion to join our team. The successful candidate will design, implement and manage our data integration pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow from various sources to our data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AWS services, Matillion, and DevOps practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines using Matillion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data integration requirements.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance policies.
- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
- Ensure infrastructure-as-code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using AWS services (CloudWatch, X-Ray).
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations for production support.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM).
- Expertise in Matillion data integration platform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and principles.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Experience with containerization (Docker).
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL principles.
- Certification in AWS or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (New Relic, Splunk).
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
