Process Engineer II

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil & Gas clients to seek a Process Engineer II to work on an initial 14-month contract in Spring, TX
Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed per project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the project's goals, objectives, and procedures.
• Assures accurate and timely communication among the Project Team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
• In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Review designs for new projects and upgrade existing facilities to comply with company and industry safety standards.

Technical and Industry Experience: 

• Environmental, Health and Safety experience
• Loss Prevention experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering within the discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Upstream experience required; Upstream project experience
• Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications

Scope of Work specific to this Assignment:

• Works with the Project Team to coordinate timely completion of studies and assessments
• Supports Advisor and Project Teams in coordination with EPCs for contractor led/facilitated assessments
• Develops/ Reviews study charters, carries out reviews, and prepares reports
• Follow up with action owners to progress Action Resolution Plan development and endorsement. Stewards and progresses action items to resolution.
• As needed, facilitates Company studies/assessments
